Jolly Bubble Is Now in Ottawa: Barrhaven Location Officially Open
The celebration featured a special ribbon-cutting ceremony with representatives from federal, provincial and municipal governments, marking an exciting milestone for Jolly Bubble—our sixth location in Canada and first in Eastern Ontario.
We're thrilled to share that Jolly Bubble officially opened its doors in Barrhaven on August 14, 2026! Located at 71 Marketplace Avenue, Unit L2, Nepean, Jolly Bubble Barrhaven marks an exciting milestone as our sixth location in Canada and first in the National Capital Region, bringing the Jolly Bubble experience to Eastern Ontario for the very first time.
A Ribbon-Cutting With Federal, Provincial and Municipal Guests
The celebration kicked off with a lively ribbon-cutting ceremony, bringing together Jolly Bubble staff, business partners, members of the Barrhaven community and elected officials from all three levels of government.
Special remarks were delivered by Sophie Kiwala, representing the Office of the Right Honourable Mark Carney, Prime Minister of Canada and Member of Parliament for Nepean; Tyler Watt, MPP for Nepean; Ottawa City Councillor David Hill (Ward 3, Barrhaven West), and Ottawa City Councillor Wilson Lo (Ward 24, Barrhaven East).
Andrea Steenbakkers, Executive Director of the Barrhaven Business Improvement Area (BIA), also joined the celebration, alongside Jolly Bubble Vice President Wes Wu and Barrhaven location owners Rushal Dudhat and Raviraj Vaghani.
We were honoured to receive a formal letter of congratulations from the Office of the Prime Minister of Canada, marking this special occasion as we welcomed the Ottawa community to our newest location.
Role-Play Zones Built for Imagination
Our Barrhaven location features themed role-play areas modelled on everyday settings — including a doctor's office, a police station, a supermarket, a construction zone and a princess dress-up corner — giving kids a chance to explore different roles and everyday scenarios through play. We've also added dedicated party rooms, so families have a ready spot to celebrate birthdays and other special occasions with us.

Part of a Fast-Growing National Brand
Barrhaven joins our existing locations in Markham, North York, Vaughan and Whitby, Ontario, and Richmond, British Columbia. Since welcoming our very first guests, we've hosted more than 100,000 family visits, and through the Jolly Foundation — which we established in 2025 — we support underprivileged children and children with autism. Having recently closed a pre-Series A financing round, we're continuing to grow across Canada, with our first U.S. location expected to open soon and more on the way across North America in the years ahead.
